Energex is a Government Owned Corporation responsible for operating and maintaining an electricity distribution network spanning more than 25,000 square kilometres, to deliver a safe and reliable electricity supply to over 2.9 million people in South East Queensland.

• Queensland Fire and Rescue Service - Energex has provided a $75,000 equipment grant to the Rural Fire Service to enhance the operational and support capacity of rural fire fighters in South East Queensland.
• The Company partnered with Queensland Museum for redeveloping the Museum's Dinosaur Garden with new exhibits to communicate positive and proactive energy messages to the wider community in a fun way.
• Company's community partnership includes Brisbane Ikka, an annual Brisbane event.
• The Company sponsors various groups like schools, cultural heritage groups, sporting clubs through their Community and Sustainability Fund. The funds are raised by the sale of scrap metal.
